Blogging and creating content are crucial to getting your name out there. Whenever we talk to new clients about how to best market their new book or business we always stress the importance of being active. With the internet constantly changing and something new popping up every minute, staying on top of your game is more crucial than ever. We decided it was time to expand our content creation into blogs as well and practice what we preach.
While I myself am not a writer (I'm the managing designer), I do have a few goals for this blog. I would like to beef up my own writing skills and in the process share some of what I've learned over the years as a professional in design. Some of my favorite questions and conversations involve talking with art students and freelancers alike looking for tips to expand their schools and their portfolio.
We are constantly growing at Creative Digital Studios, both creatively and with the services we offer. One of the many things we are looking forward to doing with this blog is announcing new offers and services along with explanations for how our process works and what we can do for you.
This blog could also be a great resource to share information about new projects and authors releases. The more places you can announce that your book is published or that your business is open, the better. As avid readers and indie publishing enthusiasts - along with being a small business ourselves - helping give our clients that little extra boost towards success is one of the many ways we want to support a growing community.
